What Are Himalayan Salt Lamps?

Himalayan salt lamps are natural rock salt crystals mined from the Khewra Salt Mine in Pakistan — one of the world's oldest and largest salt deposits. Each lamp is unique in shape, size, and color, ranging from pale pink to deep amber.

Salt Lamp Sizes & Output

Larger lamps (20+ lbs) are ideal for living rooms and open spaces. Smaller lamps (5–10 lbs) work well on desks, nightstands, and shelves. As a rule of thumb, use 1 lb of salt per 16 sq ft of space for ambient effect.
